Being a college student I was looking for the cheapest movers I could find, but I wasn’t expecting the service to be all that great, but I was definitely wrong! I was able to get a great price and get great service. The crew was friendly, and took care of my things as if it was their own, with the utmost care, and the move really was hassle-free on my part! They didn’t even say anything when I changed my mind 5 billion times!! I felt bad, but they reassured me that they were here to do what I wanted to make me satisfied with what they would accomplish. I would definitely use these guys again when I move!

My Brother and I used your services this weekend Ref # 54187942 I just wanted to say what a great, professional job your movers Mike , James & Sam were each very helpful and courteous. At the drop off, they repeatedly offered to put the items in any area of our residence and offered to set everything up. At the pick up, they packaged everything with protective cloth even though most may not have needed it. They kept up informed and we could not have been more pleased. Mike and James did an excellent job. I had a Terrible move about 3 1/2 years ago with lots of damage and missing items. I was really worried that this would be the same. I found that your company had the fewest complaints of the ten or so movers that I looked up online. The move went great! Mike and James were on time and very friendly. They were efficient and careful. I had no damage, and everything was placed where I asked. I have already been telling my friends and co-workers what a wonderful job you all did. The staff at the office was incredibly nice. I really liked being able to change online my list of things to move. The updated quote was very helpful. I really appreciated being called several times to confirm the date and time of the move. I was also very happy because this was done on only a week's notice. I would definitely use your company again if I move. Thank you so much.

This is the second time I've used new York Movers - Moving Company and have been pleased both times. I had the same guys, Mike and Sam , both times. They were actually the ones that moved my sister because I had recommended this company to her, as well. The timeframe I was given was 2-4 pm and they arrived promptly at 2 pm and we're finished by 4:30pm. They put everything where I wanted it to go and were efficient and timely. Sorry it has taken me a little time to reply. My movers were excellent. I really could not have done it without them. They were not just movers, they became friends. All four of them were there to make my move as smooth as possible and they went the whole yard to do just that. Believe me that was not an easy task, but because they were the type of people that they were, they just kept right on ticking hour after hour. We couldnt have been more pleased. The 2 movers were all we hoped for - did this very difficult job in one hour with smiles! Here at CPA , we list your company on our website that is available to parents for moving and storage. Two great points - you accept small jobs and take credit cards. You didnt send an eval for Evelyn in the office - she was extremely helpful and kind - great customer service which is one of our main focus points here in the VP's office. I can't say enough New York Movers - Moving Company and his band of movers. We were their third move on a rainy Saturday night and these guys were amazing. They worked like horses and pretty much made jokes and laughed the whole time. A few things broke, but I don't think I packed those things well enough. I have never used movers before and working with Sam was a pleasurable experience. Earlier on the day of the move, Sam gave me a call to let me know that they were a little behind. It didn't matter to me much and when it came time to pay the bill, they knocked off a hefty sum to compensate for the delay. I can't say this enough, these guys were great and you'd be crazy to not give them a try when you move again. Best New York Moving Company , New York Movers - Moving Comp[pany .

I moved mid April 2007 and first off, he was the only moving company who personally came and gave an estimate (how can you tell how much it will cost if you don't see for yourself?). That really impressed me. He came in and gave me a fair quote and estimate. Let me tell you I had a lot to move! 3 Bedrooms, basement, backyard, full Kitchen, dining room and family room. The guys came in over 2 days and moved everything without a hitch. Even stayed late the first nite getting it done. Very Happy Customer. New York Movers - Moving Company is responsible, and his guys are trustworthy. Nothing went missing or damaged and they show up on time. 1 week after the move I had a sofa delivered and the delivery company wouldn't bring it into my house. (They left it on the sidewalk!) I called Mike and he came couple of hours later and he and his mate moved it into my sunroom. And he didn't want to charge me anything!!!! I left a nice tip and highly recommend this company and his crew. Thanks Mike! You are the bomb!

New York Movers - Moving Company = Remarkable Movers made my move such an easy one - Erica was great, taking care of all of my co-op's rules and requirements, She Faxed The Insurance Certificate To The Co-op's Office and the movers were the absolute best. Mike was my foreman, he and his crew were timely, friendly and professional. Nothing was a problem, from helping us pack up the last of our boxes, to assembling all of my furniture, They were an absolute pleasure dealling with Them . They were so careful with all of our things that I wound up having them move paintings I had planned on taking myself, because I thought they'd get it there more safely than i would, and they did. Everything got to our destination undamaged. Nothing was misplaced or broken, and I never heard them say that they couldn't take something or that it didn't fit. They got to my new home and started unloading quickly and efficiently. They were always on the move, no one was ever standing around doing nothing or moving slow. They stayed until everything was where we wanted it, and the price was great, even though I underestimated the number of boxes we had by a lot. All in all, they made moving stress free. I would highly recommend them.

I thought since I read about the company on this site and then ended up using them, that it would be nice to let you all know about my move to New Jersey. I saw the reveiw for New York Movers - Moving Company a week or so ago and thought I`d give them a try. I have to say, I`m glad I did. They were so nice and helpful. They walked me through it just like the person said in the review and made it so easy for me. It took a couple minutes of my time to fill out the inventory list they make you fill out, but this is only so they can get you a real price. Not a quote like all the other companies do. and that was the price i paid. no hidden costs, no hassles. I recommened them to anyone considering a move. thanks guys.

This crew of five moved us from our apartment in Manhattan to anotther apartment 30 blocks away. They broke nothing, they moved us quickly, and they re-wrapped many of my self-packed boxes that didn`t look strong enough to them, without charging us. They took every shelf off the wall, disassembled our beds, including my kids` bunks, and reassembled them in our new apartment. They took stuff to our storage area. The owner, Eric , even advised me on how to pack my china and other breakables, once he realized we were doing the packing ourselves. He and his team of men were nice, respectful , honest guys, and he gave us a binding estimate that did not change. We highly recommend New York Movers - Moving Company and their owner for anybody who is skittish about moving. This company was a relief to find.

I was referred to New York Movers - Moving Company by a friend of mine who works for the company. I received an estimate from Eric (the owner of the company) for 6 hours including travel time. My job came to 7 hours but you should have seen those guys work (I am a musician so I had lots of equipment) the guys were friendly and actually seemed happy moving all my large, heavy boxes. I had a crew of 5 men and I definitely need them with all our stuff my wife alone had most of the truck with her clothes and shoes we also have 2 girls with just as much stuff as there mother. New York Movers - Moving Company was great and I will recommend them to everyone that I know. The least that I can do for these guys and this company is provide an excellent rating. Well done Sam , Mike , James, Bernard and Serge it was a pleasure doing business with you all and New York Movers- Moving Company .

Remarkable moving is by far the best moving company i dealt with. i move very often for work and i hate the whole process. my experience with flatrate moving was very different. i paid a little more than i usually do but i got the service i deserve. everyone in this company are super professional, the movers,the office staff,the dispatcher and the drivers. i recieve my goods in time as promised and in the same condition i sent them. I strongly recommend to use them. after all, you get what you pay for.

We had a wonderful experience with the crew from New York Movers Services for our in-state move. A company representative gave us a free estimate and box delivery was free as well. They even bought back our unused boxes. Actual cost was within about 10% of the estimate, plus the charge for boxes of course. On the day of the move, the crew showed up right on time, introduced themselves, and got to work. They were very professional and communicative throughout the day. They worked very hard all day to get our move done. We appreciated their courtesy as well: we were addressed as "sir" or "maam" and they always said "excuse me" - very polite guys! I would highly recommend this moving company if you are moving in New York City. So my overall word on New York Movers is GREAT !

If you need to move around the NYC area, you got to use the Mike. My move was only within the SF city and I heard they were fast and reliable movers, so I gave them a try. They were right. 5 men came over to move my 3 bedroom, two bath condominium, packed and moved everything to my new house in just one day. I'm happy to say I'm very satisfied with the overall experience with Mike's.

Three years ago, the new york movers-moving company guys came and helped me out - they were so fast and careful! They made moving so easy - and it was very cheap. This year I moved again, and without reservation called the guys. From the initial call to the confirmation, everything went so beautifully. The moving guys called me the day of my move, about an hour before they arrived. It literally took 40 minutes to move an entire one-bedroom apt into the truck. The team I had was very quiet, light on their feet (did I get the dancers this time?). When we got there, it took longer because we had to deal with an elevator and spiral staircase. I was a little worried, but again, I don't know how they do it - they are what they say, "very gentle". And extremely quiet. It ended up taking two hours. I recommend these guys - and don't forget to tip well. they're artists!

After calling several companies for estimates for our move from new York to the Bronx , we chose New york Movers , Moving company not only for the good feedback we had read, but also because there was a simple 'pay by the hour' fee schedule that included no extra and/or hidden costs. We were very pleased with our choice. They not only arrived on time - but a little early. All four men were friendly, highly professional efficient and skilled at moving large pieces safely around tight corners. Also, my husband was happy that he and a neighbor were allowed to help, which made the entire move go ever faster, thus making it cheaper. Friends have recently asked us if we know a good mover, and we didn't hesitate to tell them about our good experience with New York Movers Moving Company .

New York Movers Movers experience. Just finished a month long process with NY International shipping out fo NY to London UK. Our moving experience was fantastic. The rate was very competitive, and Isaac who took care of me from beginning to end was right on the mark with the volume evaluation and with the cost. The movers did a great job. We moved several times using different companies and I have to admit, they did a great job. If anyone wants to move, I highly recommend New York Movers Movers for the relocation but make sure that you speak to Isaac Perez who was by our side with any question we had a round the clock, no matter how simple or complicated the question we had. If he did not have an immediate answer, ge researched, used his connections and in no time we had a professional advice for no extra cost. This was not the first time I moved in the USA but definitely the first time the moving was perfectly smooth! I was expecting delays, excuses, broken items, overcharges like any other time I had to use movers but this time I found none. The movers were right on time, friendly and professional, did not rash with my furniture and made sure everything was packed and stored in the most secure way possible. After reading all the good reviews from other sites on New York Movers Movers, I decided to give them my business. That, and getting quotes form Moishes and OZ. These two wanted $3700 and $2700 respectively. New York Movers said $750!!! I figured in about another $700 in boxes, moving help, etc and came up with a max of $1450. This was a no brainer. In any event, hope this wasn't too long. I will without a doubt use New York Movers Movers again. Packing yourself is not fun, but if you've got time, you will save a lot. This is my first post, but I thought this site saved me so much, I had to at least try to help someone else decide

Moving, as we all know is VERY stressfull...and I can honestly say, I might just be the queen of stress. Not so, with these guys, they calmed me down (not easy in any circumstances), and proceeded to move me and my apartment. I have to say that they did everything, down to taking down the door to my apartment and the front door of the building, after trying every single angle to get the sofa out known to man, and a few unknown ones! WOW! they were fabulous...all I have to say is: if you're moving...USE THESE GUYS...THEY ARE THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OH, AND BY THE WAY...THEY KEPT TO THE QUOTE TO THE PENNY.

I had a great experience with New York Movers Movers from beginning to end. The salesperson I was communicating with was very helpful, and was patient with me even with all of my questions (I had a TERRIBLE move with another company a few months earlier when moving my things into storage). On the day of the move, things went smoothly.. everyone was professional, hardworking, efficient. They actually wrapped my furniture, unlike the "full service movers" that i used to move into storage. I didn't have any hidden charges, either... I was told up front when getting my estimate what my extra charges were - the boxes i used from their truck and if i wanted extra insurance. The one "negative" thing, if you can call it that, is that my actual charge was a bit higher that what I was quoted. I'm not terribly upset, though, because the person i spoke to did tell me that the quote allotted for some minor traffic delays... but choosing to move on a Friday, I suppose, actually ends up with major traffic delays. That's just the way things are and is not really anyone's fault. I still recommend them to my friends and family.

Got quotes from other "top" moving companies and their rates were double. New York Movers is professional, reliable and great to work with. THis is the first time I got movers and I was annoyed at how expensive some of the other quotes were. Thankfully I relied on the reviews posted here and called up for a quote. It was affordable and stress-free. They were flexible with the amount of boxes I expected to have and they were polite at all times. The movers arrived on time, did their job and left without incident. They worked hard and never came across as threatening or sketchy. I never write reviews but I felt this company deserved the praise. I highly recommend New York Movers Movers . "
